Death Stranding has received a brand new update on PlayStation 4. Patch 1.12 is a minor one and it introduces Photo Mode along with some other performance improvements.
Kojima Productions have another update for their "strand" game Death Stranding. This time, it is a minor update with only one addition but also with various performance improvements and optimisation.
The highlight of the patch is the new Photo Mode, which will allow players to take gorgeous-looking screenshots with an in-game camera, which features various effects and options. Photo Mode was announced for PC earlier this year but Kojima Productions decided to also implement it on PS4.
You can access the Photo Mode from the in-game Options but before that, make sure that the latest update is actually installed. It should weight around 1 GB.
As for other additions in this 1.12 patch, well, there is not much to talk about really. The patch notes only mention the Photo Mode and various performance improvements. The latter should help with the overall frame-rate, crashes and FPS drops.
Death Stranding is available now on PlayStation 4 and will also launch on the PC platform sometime in Summer 2020. Apparently, the sales flopped and the game was supposed to be darker and more horror-esque.
