Cyberpunk 2077 pre-order numbers are apparently highest in China according to now-deleted post on the Linkedin profile of the company's director of PR and marketing in the region Darren Ding.
Seven years after the official reveal at E3 2013, CD Projekt Red's AAAA RPG is set to finally release in November 2020 after several delays. And while many assume that these delays have killed the hype for the sci-fi title, it looks like the pre-order numbers are telling a different tale.
According to now-deleted post on the company's director of PR and marketing in the region Darren Ding Linkedin profile, Cyberpunk 2077 pre-order numbers are highest in China.
On top of this, Cyberpunk 2077 is apparently on top of the pre-order charts on Steam in China, shortly after it appeared on Valve's platform. CD Projekt Red recently released the story trailer with Chinese voice acting and confirmed that the game will support both Simplified Chinese text and Mandarin voices at launch.
Additionally, more than 150 voice actors completed around 70,000 lines in Mandarin so it is safe to say that Chinese language players can look forward to Cyberpunk 2077.
Cyberpunk 2077 is officially hitting the shelves on November 19, 2020, for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will also arrive to next-gen consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
