CD Projekt Red released edited footage of Pacifica gameplay from Cyberpunk 2077 and fans did not exactly like that format. However, the recently leaked video shows the raw footage from the cut-up trailer.
Cyberpunk 2077 Deep Dive video revealed more about net-running and the Voodoo Boys gang that is proficient in the futuristic art, but the format of the video was not to everyone's liking. Instead of a unified block of gameplay, the trailer was all over the place due to being edited to show just the core of the features that CDPR decided to showcase.
Fast forward to 27 April 2020, we can now see the footage without any cuts. The leak originates from a showing behind closed doors, likely for Italian press and influencers. There are several drawbacks to the footage though, such as not understanding what's going on if you don't speak Italian, low video quality (360p) and the fact that it was recorded with a third party device, most likely a phone.
However, the footage is clear enough to see the juicy bits. You can clearly see the gameplay of V driving a bike as well as the inventory and skills UI screens. You will recognise some of the bits that were shown in the Deep Dive video, which we have embedded below.
Given the fact that we haven't seen any official gameplay showings for months now, and that CDPR will most likely refrain from releasing more until the showcase at IGN Summer Games - even this 360p video may turn out to be a godsend.
On the other hand, it is possible that we get a high-resolution version of the same video soon as there is no point in keeping it secret anymore since the cat is very much out of the bag now. After all, online leaks have had a major impact on release dates for Ghost of Tsushima and The Last of Us Part II, so anything's possible now.
