If you're still reeling from the news of Cyberpunk 2077's latest delay, then Dark Horse may have a solution as they're publishing a Cyberpunk 2077 comic in September.
The exact date is September 9, 2020, a bit earlier than Cyberpunk 2077 was meant to launch after the first delay.
Rather than focusing on the in-game events, Cyberpunk 2077: Trauma Team #1, as the comic is officially named, revolves around one of the most powerful corporations in the CP77 universe - Trauma Team International.
"Nadia, an assistant EMT for a privately-owned business known as Trauma Team International, is the sole survivor of a failed rescue mission turned shootout. After she agrees to continue work for an upcoming extraction mission, Nadia and her new team find themselves in an even more dangerous and life-threatening situation", the description reads.
If you're not that familiar with Cyberpunk 2077, let us clue you in - Trauma Team International is a corporation that deals in rapid response medical services. As you can deduce from the images, they're not just paramedics and their understanding of the Hippocratic Oath is liberal at best.
Their services are costly but often invaluable, and there are extra costs involved for fuel, equipment damage, personnel damage and even ammo spent while extracting their patient. But hey, that's not so bad - if they don't arrive in 10 minutes, you get 50 per cent off of the ammo spent.
You can see why Dark Horse thought Trauma Team International would be a good start for Cyberpunk 2077 comic books, as the mere concept oozes potential. Either way, we'll get to see for ourselves when it launches on September 9, 2020.
