According to CDPR president and CEO, Adam Kicinski, Cyberpunk 2077 will introduce more expansions than The Witcher 3. Kicinski said that players can expect more content but at a similar release path after launch.
CD Projekt Red have revealed a couple of new details about their plans for Cyberpunk 2077. In the latest financial report for the first half of 2020, Adam Kicinski, the president and CEO of the Polish gaming giant has talked about post-launch content and multiplayer version of the game, which is set to arrive a bit later.
When asked about the DLC for Cyberpunk 2077, Kicinski pointed out that Cyberpunk 2077 will follow the same path as The Witcher 3, which is something that the company already confirmed before. However, CDPR president added that Cyberpunk 2077 will have more DLC than The Witcher 3, which had 16 pieces of small DLC and two major story expansions.
"You can expect a similar path after launch. In fact, you can expect more [DLC]," Kicinski replied when asked about post-launch content.
At the moment, we do not have any additional information about the post-launch content but CD Projekt Red promised they will talk more about their plans before the game officially launches in November 2020.
As you may know, The Witcher 3 had some of the best DLCs ever released in Hearts of Stone and Blood in Wine, so it's safe to say that players are excited to see what CD Projekt Red have in store for Cyberpunk 2077.
Cyberpunk 2077 is set to launch on November 19, 2020, for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will also arrive to next-gen consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X as well as Google Stadia.
