Conan Exiles has today received a major update called Age of Heroes, which brings some highly-requested features to Funcom's popular survival MMO.
The biggest highlight of the update are certainly the two new voiced companions - Liu Fei, the Khitan sorcerer, and Freya, the Aesir warrior. Funcom explain that both of these will each gain unique perks based on your actions during the story.
The second major feature in Age of Heroes update aims to transform worker thralls from static workstation improvements into living, breathing people with needs and reactions to the world around them.
Your people will eat, sleep, socialise and rest but also panic and flee when the danger comes knocking at the gate.
In what Funcom call a major overhaul, they also included many quality-of-life improvements, new UI, knock-on effects, and other details.
In addition, a large expansion to the Argossean building set has been added to the Bazaar item shop, including the beautifully detailed observatory, along with many other unique looks, from Pictish weapons and armours to interior decorations.
There's obviously more in this patch so feel free to check out the official patch notes on Steam and the official trailer on the top of this article.
Conan Exiles update The Age of Heroes is live now on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass.
