Ubisoft is finally shaking up Rainbow Six Siege with a major free update titled Rainbow Six Siege X. The new update is an overall revamp of the game. The game came out in 2015, and after 10 years of its lifecycle, Ubisoft is finally moving the game to its new stage.
Rainbow Six Siege X is a major free update of the game which will be available for all players who own the game and buy the game following the update's release in June 10, 2025. Following the update's reveal earlier this year, Ubisoft has recently released the PC specs required to play the game in different presets. The game will require 60 to 110 GB of your SSD space, and you'll need at least Windows 10/11 64-bit to run it. The game is available for purchase on Ubisoft Connect and Steam.

The game is looking well optimised considering the game size remaining under 120 GB, which is a rare sight for modern AAA games. However, to run the game on higher presets would require players to break their bank by opting for a GPU with ray-tracing capabilities.
