The first major event for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile was Operation Day Zero, which was to celebrate the launch of the game. Now to wrap up Season 3 for Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is getting a new event called Golden Week: Seeing Yokai.
The Golden Week: Seeing Yokai event will be available just before the Season 3 Reloaded update and here's what you can expect from it.
Everything new in Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile's new Golden Week: Seeking Yokai event
Golden Week is a holiday-themed celebration that includes new content inspired by Japanese folklore. Players must earn Event Points by playing through the limited-time Golden Plunder playlist, or any playlist of their choice, and then redeem their free rewards through the Golden Week Event: Seeing Yokai.
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded blog also mentioned the event featuring three exclusive in-game rewards. Here are the rewards players can get from Golden Week: Seeing Yokai event:
- Weapon Blueprint: Lockwood 300 - Shogun's Harmony
- Weapon Blueprint: Combat Knife - Stealth Blossom
- Animated Calling Card: Golden Week
Furthermore, by playing on the Golden Week-themed Yokai’s Elegance Keep, all players can earn further folklore-themed rewards, including the Oni Daimyo operator skin and the Vaznev-9K: Yokai’s Elegance weapon blueprint.
Aside from the in-game event, the new Golden Week: Seeing Yokai event will also introduce a new game mode variant called Golden Plunder. The Golden Plunder is a unique take on the Plunder game mode where players are tasked with collecting gold, and the team with the highest gold count wins.
