After many rumours and leaks, Activision have finally unveiled the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 logo and release date. The game is officially coming on November 10, 2023, presumably to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
The publisher revealed the details in the first teaser trailer, which doesn't tell much. Basically, it's a bunch of red fragments that eventually end up revealing the official logo, which, as you can tell, rocks a red colour scheme, this time around.
Traditionally, the Call of Duty Modern Warfare series always went with the iconic green theme, which made the series recognisable and probably the most popular within the Call of Duty franchise.
Anyway, more details about Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 are expected in the coming weeks and months, as we get close to the launch date. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 development is being led by Sledgehammer Games, who previously worked on Call of Duty WW2, Vanguard and Advanced Warfare.
These three games are not really considered to be the best ever Call of Duty games so it remains to be seen if their first endeavour into the Modern Warfare series is a hit or miss.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is expected to continue the story from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and possibly complete this timeline to allow devs to come up with new scenarios for the next Modern Warfare game in a couple of years.
All in all, it's that exciting time of the year once again, if you are a Call of Duty fan so stay tuned to the official channels of Activision for upcoming details.
