Respawn Entertainment have put a massive emphasis on the rework of Revenant and have clearly shown that through the new Apex Legends - Resurrection reveal trailer.
Revenant's new passive ability, Assassin's Instinct, grants him increased movement speed while crouching, improved wall climbing and highlights nearby low-hp enemies.
His tactical move, Shadow Pounce, enables him to unleash a powerful pounce forward. Charging the move allows him to leap further.
Forged Shadows, Revenants ultimate, unleash protective shadows that block incoming damage. Both the shadows and the tactical get recharged once Revenant gets a knockdown.
Aside from this very exciting and anticipated rework, Apex will get a charge rifle update. The new charge rifle will feature an extended sniper mag attachment slot and a few changes to the firing mechanism.
Holding the trigger down will increase the weapon’s charge and releasing the trigger will decrease it. At full charge, a powerful piercing energy projectile is released which deals increased damage the further it travels.
Lastly, The Core has been announced as the new TDM and Gun Run map while Production Yard will be the new Control map.
The new season is packed with exciting changes and content but it is hard for it to not get overshadowed by the already fan-loved Revenant rework.
