As we wait for Blue Protocol closed beta test, Bandai Namco have started to share weekly screenshots from the game, revealing the enemy types, locations and more. This time, we got a first look at a new town described as a "touristy" side with lots of "fresh fruits and vegetables".
Bandai Namco's upcoming MMORPG Blue Protocol is about to hit a closed beta test sometime next month but at the moment, the exact dates are yet to be revealed by the devs. We know that by the end of March, the team will share more details about closed beta, including the start and end dates, but until then, we'll have to wait patiently and enjoy the weekly screenshots that are being shared over at Blue Protocol Twitter.
Last week, the devs gave us a first look at the game's new flame-type enemy , which you can check out here and this week, we have another screenshot, showcasing one of the new towns that will be available in the closed beta test. The town is described as (roughly translated by Google) a touristy side, with a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits as well as special souvenirs. You can take a look at the screenshot from one of the town's markets above.
As already mentioned, players will get to explore the town in the closed beta test along with several other locations and regions. The new town does not sound like a big location where players will be able to get everything they need though, it is more like a resting place where you'll get to access your storage, refill consumables and a bit more.
Blue Protocol is currently in development for PC. The game has been confirmed for the Japanese market but the developers are also preparing a western release. Read more about that here.
