Battlefield V's Fall Update adds multiplayer options, Elites, cosmetics

Battlefield V, Fall Update

EA and Dice are rolling out the Fall Update for Battlefield V, opening it up for customisation of own multiplayer matches, adding two new Elites, cosmetics and more.

The update launches tomorrow, November 17, 2020, and the most obvious addition is the Community Games expansion, which will let you set the following parameters:

  • You can now give your servers custom names and descriptions    
  • You can now choose scalable values for:        
    • Bullet damage        
    • Ticket count        
    • Soldier respawn time        
    • Vehicle respawn time        
    • Round time   
  • You can now choose to include or not include between the following in your game:        
    • Four different soldier classes        
    • Four different types of vehicles        
    • Weapon types        
    • Gadget types    
  • You can now toggle the following on or off:        
    • Aim assist auto rotation        
    • Aim assist slowdown        
    • Compass        
    • Friendly fire        
    • Kill cam        
    • Mini-map        
    • Reload whole mags        
    • Regenerative health       
    •  Visible soldier name tags        
    • Squad leader spawn only        
    • Vehicle third-person camera        
    • Visible in-game HUD.

If you're not into customisation, Dice and EA threw in six templates of the most popular modes for you to use in Battlefield V. 

Battlefield V's new Elites are Jonathan McNiel, US soldier wielding the Golden Eagle Knife, and Siegfried, German that wields the Lion Head Sword. Both will be automatically unlocked for the owners of Battlefield V: Definitive Edition. 

In addition to the above, Battlefield V players are getting:

  • 113 vehicle skins
  • 69 airplane skins
  • 28 airplane nose decals
  • 25 headgear items
  • 7 facepaints
  • 4 weapon skins
