Battlefield 6 Hunter/Prey update arrives April 14, adding progression changes, ping improvements, and final Season 2 content.

Battlefield 6‘s next major update, Hunter/Prey, launches on April 14. While adding content and modes for players to explore, updates to the core game will also refine systems within Battlefield 6.

The update will continue on changes added in the recent Nightfall update, while keeping some of its most popular features.

Nightfall Updates Remain 

Nightfall may be ending, but some of its features will carry over into the permanent roster. The VL-7 Smoke grenade modifier is returning permanently, along with Night Mode.

Night Mode is expected to return as a rotating seasonal modifier in the future.Other seasonal features will be rotated out to make room for new updates in season two and beyond.

Key Progression Updates 

Battlefield developers have stated that they want progression to feel quicker and more rewarding. However, they don’t want to lose the longevity that players have come to love from grinding in Battlefield.

As such, several elements of the game will be adjusted to improve the pacing of player progression.- Weapons and loadouts - Vehicles - Career progression - REDSEC progression Players should expect to feel more versatility in how they approach progression with these tweaks.

Other Gameplay Improvements
