ARC Raiders is coming into 2026 with strong momentum. Embark Studios’ extraction shooter just hit its largest-ever milestone, boasting all-time highs for its daily users, cumulative sales, and overall revenue.
Embark hasn’t publicly confirmed these new figures, but the estimates would show a game that isn’t just retaining its player base, but expanding upon it after release.
ARC Raiders reportedly breaks new player records
Analytics data reportedly shows ARC Raiders reached 3.2 million daily active users (DAU) on January 4. The milestone reportedly set an all-time high for the game, and represents the combined userbase between the PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions.
In that sense, the title is doing well on every platform. The player count would suggest ARC Raiders has reached over 12 million copies sold. The game has also reportedly generated over $350 million in total revenue. If true, that would make it one of the most successful new entries in the extraction shooter genre.
Platform split shows strong PC dominance
The report also breaks down how those sales are distributed across platforms:
- Steam accounts for roughly 53.5 % of total copies sold
- PlayStation 5 follows with 25.5 %
- Xbox Series X/S makes up the remaining 21 %
ARC Raiders wins big with player retention
Above all else, player retention is a key differentiator. The game is still generating huge concurrent figures months after launch. In the past 24 hours, it was reported to have hit 466,372 concurrent players on Steam, which is just under its all-time high back in November.
This performance, in stark contrast to other recent shooters, such as Battlefield 6, which saw an immediate plummet in concurrent players despite a massive launch.
