ARC Raiders is an extraction shooter from Embark Studios. Since the game's release, ARC Raiders has slowly become one of the most played games on all platforms. Almost 2 months into the game's lifecycle, Embark has managed to retain 90% of its initial player base.
The game's main objective is to loot and build up your stash with items for PvP and PvE. While running raids, you will need to pick the right augment to optimize how much loot you can pick up alongside the slots for utility and quick-use items.
While you can craft and buy the basic augments in-game, you need the blueprints for the epic augments to craft and use them. If you're looking for augment blueprints in ARC Raiders, then here's a quick guide for you.
How to Find Augment Blueprints in ARC Raiders
There are five augment blueprints in ARC Raiders. These augments all fall under the epic category with their own gimmicks, like smoke that deploys when your shield is broken or the ability to get three safe pockets. Here are all the augment blueprints in ARC Raiders:
- Combat Mk. 3 (Flanking)
- Combat Mk. 3 (Aggressive)
- Looting Mk. 3 (Survivor)
- Looting MK. 3 (Safekeeper)
- Tactical Mk. 3 (Defensive)
- Tactical Mk. 3 (Healing)
- Tactical Mk. 3 (Revival)
- Tactical Mk. 3 (Smoke)
The drop pattern and rate of augment blueprints is completely random, like every other blueprint in the game. However, there are some certain POIs and map conditions that might be a determining factor of getting more augment blueprints. Here's how you can get more augment blueprints in ARC Raiders:
- Medical areas tend to drop more augment blueprints than usual. You can find medical areas in the following POIs:
- Testing Annex and Research & Administration in Dam Battlegrounds
- Arrival and Departure in Spaceport
- Medical, Assembly, Security Wing, and Lobby in Stella Montis
- Reinforced Reception in Blue Gate
- Hospital and Pharmacy POIs in Buried City
- Breachable rooms like the one in Reinforced Reception and the Stella Montis lobby have a high chance of augment blueprint drops.
- Black boxes, cabinets, and blue drawers in ARC Raiders have a high chance of getting augment blueprints.
- Special events and map conditions like Night Raid and Locked Gate (Blue Gate) have an increased chance of getting augment blueprints.
- White drawers in the Hidden Bunker event in Spaceport have a high chance of dropping rare augment blueprints like Looting Mk3 (Survivor). Moreover, the Medical Wings of Arrival and Departure also have a high chance of dropping augment blueprints during the event.
- With the new update, Augment blueprints can also drop in day mode of all maps in the game.
In our 300 hours of gameplay, we have had the most success in getting augment blueprints from Reinforced Reception in Blue Gate. Since the game's launch, this POI has had the highest drop rate of augment and medical item blueprint drops.
You can multiply your chances of getting more augment blueprints by playing Night Raid, Electromagnetic Storm, and Cold Snap. However, be cautious when you are in that POI, as Blue Gate is a more PvP-focused map.
