As one of the most anticipated and hyped games in recent memory, Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a bunch of limited edition gaming hardware tie-ins. A confirmed piece of futuristic gaming equipment is the Cyberpunk 2077 RTX graphics card by Nvidia.
A recent leak on Amazon Canada shows a Cyberpunk 2077 themed Xbox One controller. The listing features various detailed pictures that make us doubt that this is a mistake. The leaked controller lacks a share button which makes it an Xbox One controller and not an Xbox Series X one.
Neither Microsoft nor CD Projekt RED announced such hardware recently so take the information in this article with a shot glass of Himalayan salt. The listing sets this controller's release date for 4 May 2020.
The "currently unavailable" item is described like so:
- Live the mercenary life with the Xbox Wireless Controller - cyberpunk 2077 limited Edition
- The rugged design is based on cult cyberpunk character Johnny silverhand
- Immerse yourself in a future where technology is the key to survival
- Custom button mapping with the Xbox accessories app
- Plug in any compatible headset with the 3.5mm stereo headset jack
The listed release date, if true, is coming up fast so an official announcement shouldn't be far behind.
A Limited Edition Cyberpunk 2077 controller isn't out of the realm of possibilities as CD Projekt Red announced that "owners of Cyberpunk 2077 for Xbox One will receive the Xbox Series X upgrade for free when available".
Cyberpunk 2077 is under construction at the moment and is set for a 17 September release. The game will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, Stadia, GeForce NOW and Xbox One.
