Alan Wake 2 is probably the most anticipated game of October 2023 but those who didn't get beefy rigs might have issues running it on PC.
With the system requirements published, Remedy confirmed another of their titles to be quite demanding, which was the case with pretty much everything they developed so far.
The game will require 16 GB RAM across the board as well as 90 GB of space on an SSD.
| Minimum | Recommended | Recommended | Ultra | RT low | RT medium | RT high | |

As you can see, the game is already leaning towards the higher end for 30 FPS at 1440p which is already a warning sign for weaker systems but even if you want to run it at 60 FPS at 1080p, you will have to get eight-core CPU.
As for the size, it is actually surprisingly low, considering how cinematic Remedy's games are and the fact that they usually have quite a few cutscenes in them.
