A look at all the League of Legends preseason rune changes

Are you happy with the rune changes?

League of Legends 2021 preseason will feature some new additions to the in-game items which will have a huge impact on the game. There will also be a lot of adjustments to the runes and we've prepared a list of all the changes revealed so far.

The League of Legends preseason just keeps on giving and apart from all the improvements  to the game's competitive ranking system, the biggest change will be the introduction of a new type of item called mythic which we've covered in one of our previous  articles.

However, besides all the item changes there will also be some significant adjustments to the in-game runes:

Ravenous Hunter - Heal for a percentage of the damage dealt. Healing: 1 per cent + 2 per cent for every Bounty Hunter stack (instead of the current 1.5 + 2.5 per cent). Bounty Hunter stacks are earned the first time you get a takedown on each enemy champion. Healing reduced to one third against non-champions.

Conqueror -  Adaptive Force per stack increased to 2-5 from 1.7-4.2 Heal effect for melee champions lowered from 15 to 10 per cent from. Heal effect for ranged champions reduced from 8 to 6 per cent.

Presence of Mind - Damaging an enemy champion increases your mana regeneration by 1.5-11 (80 per cent for ranged) mana per second for 4 seconds (instead of gaining flat mana or energy). All energy users gain 1.5 energy per second. Mana restore one takedowns will get lowered from 15 to 20 per cent.

Legend: Destroyer (new rune) -  Gain 2 per cent Bonus Armour and Bonus Magic Penetration for every Legend stack (max 10 stacks). Earn progress toward Legend stacks for every champion takedown, epic monster takedown, large monster kill, and minion kill.

Legends: Bloodline - Max stacks decreased to 15 from 20 - maximum life steal will now be 9 per cent.

Transcendence - With Cooldown Reduction being removed from the game, this rune will have a new effect. Gain bonuses upon reaching the following levels: 

  • Level 5: +5 Ability Haste
  • Level 8: +5 Ability Haste
  • Level 11: On Champion takedown, reduce the remaining cooldown of basic abilities by 20 per cent

Cosmic Insight - Just like Transcendence, this item will have a new but similar effect: +15 Summoner Spell Haste nad +10 Item Haste.
