Overwatch's Anniversary event is just around the corner. This year's event will probably kick off a bit later than usual. The players will be treated to a bunch of new skins and weekly challenges.
Overwatch's Anniversary event is next on the game's social calendar. The previous Anniversary brought about oodles of fresh skins and new emotes and this year is going to be no different.
The prior Anniversary events have always kicked off around May 21 so we think that the 2021 event will follow suit and start on May 24, 2021. If this ends up being the case, it would mark the latest date in May the event has started.
Overwatch Anniversary 2021 skins
The following heroes are still to get an Anniversary skin:
- Ana - We'd like to see another spin on the Cab(ana) skin.
- Baptiste - He's left his past behind him, so he needs a fresh outfit to feel like a new man.
- Echo - Give us an Echo in a full ballet get-up. That is all.
- Reinhardt - Brigitte could make Rein a couple of new pieces inspired by his master's armour.
The upcoming event will see the return of the weekly challenges and the players will be able to score three new epic skins in exchange for some wins in the arcade. If the devs decide to bring back the star system from the last Archives event, the weekly challenge skins will be a breeze to obtain.
