Ubisoft have completely scrapped the idea of having tournaments just for "fun" in Rainbow Six Siege and have instead chosen to go for a more serious narrative and create squads that tackle serious problems occurring in the world.

If you had the stomach for the kind of work we do, you'd be on the field with us." This is the quote Jordan Trace AKA Thermite used to describe his squad Redhammer
These are the operators who make up Rainbow's most brutal squad:
1. Thermite
Thermite was selected as the leader of Redhammer due to his long collaboration with team Rainbow.
2. Ash
Ash is second in command and was the leading operator in charge of the operations that team Rainbow was having.
3. Tachanka
All of the Russian operators are about "go big or go home" so why shouldn't the machinegun-yielding king be in Redhammer?
4. Fuze
What should we say other than explosions?
5. Kapkan
Even though he works in silence, his work is everything but silent.
6. Sledge
He is still one of the main soft breaches in team Rainbow.
7. Buck
Buck and Sledge go hand in hand when it comes to getting rid of walls
8. Blackbeard
While Blackbeard doesn't have any destructive gadgets, his shield destroys any of the enemies chances of getting an advantage.
9. Kaid
Kaid is the oldest and wisest operator in the team and his skill can be very useful in Redhammer.
10. Gridlock
Gridlock's strong build and useful gadget make her fit right in with Redhammer
11. Goyo
12. Amaru
If "go hard or go home" was a playable operator.
13. Oryx
Why wouldn't the operator that can run into walls be on Redhammer.
14. Thorn
Thorn's character is very physically strong, just like her connection to Sledge, she belongs in Redhammer
15. Fenrir
Poisonous smoke dispensing gadget sounds like Redhammer to me.
16. Ram
Ram is the ultimate surface destructor, threatening both Sledge and Buck with their jobs
