This is the Police

This the Police is the 5th title on Switch to receive an M rating by the ESRB. This is the Police revolves around Jack Boyd, Chief of Police in Freeburg PD. The Switch version will launch digitally on 24 October 2017.

Pokken Tournament DX

Switch players will have a bunch of games to sift through this week. There will be five retail titles and some download-only options. Nintnedo 3DS will get some classic Pokemon games.

Nintendo Direct - Nintendo 3DS

Nintendo Direct detailed the company's road map for the next couple of months. Minecraft: New Nintendo 3DS Edition and Pokemon Ultra Sun / Ultra Moon are among the games that are coming to Nintendo 3DS.

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon

Nintendo Direct revealed a lot of information about the upcoming Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon games. A Pokemon-themed Nintendo 2DS XL system has also been shown. The new design is set launch this 17 November.

Pokemon Sun & Moon getting a new expansion

The Pokemon Company International announced that a new expansion will be launching for Pokemon Sun & Moon in November. There will be over 110 cards, along with some more Alolan Pokemon.

Nintendo at Pax West

Nintendo is hosting the third Nindies@Night event at the Museum of Pop Culture during this year's Pax West. Super Mario Odyssey Fan Challenge will keep the visitors entertained. Up to 600 fans will be able to attend a live filming of a Nintendo Minute.

AUGUST 24

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon

In Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon, the story will feature Necrozma alongside the Legendary duo from Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon. The story also also features a new Z-Power Ring which players will acquire in the game and can activate to use "an even wider variety of Z-Moves". The games will launch on 17 November.

AUGUST 18

Nintendo's booth at Gamescom

Nintendo is bringing it for this year's Gamescom. When I say it I mean Super Mario Odyssey and Metroid: Samus Returns. There will also be some special livestreams organised.

The Nintendo World Championships

The Nintendo World Championships 2017 will be held in New York. Qualifiers will be organised at select Best Buy stores all over the US. There will be two groups of contestants: 12 years and younger and 13 years and older.

Kirby is celebrating his 25th anniversary in 2017, and to celebrate, Nintendo will be releasing three Kirby games for their 3DS system. The second game is coming next week, on 06 July.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild just got its first DLC pack. The DLC brought a new dungeon and a fresh difficulty mode. New outfits and head wear are also out there somewhere.

Super NES Classic Edition coming in September

Nintendo has confirmed that the SNES version of their Classic Mini console will arrive on 29 September 2017 with a suggested price of around £80. The US and Australian release dates are the only ones confirmed so far.

Nintendo held their E3 presentation today and they announced a number of titles coming for their Switch console as well as the Nintendo 3DS. Some highlights include Metroid, Pokemon and Super Mario Odyssey.

Pokemon Gold and Silver coming to Nintendo Virtual Console

Today's Nintendo Direct stream has revealed that Pokemon Gold and Silver will be available via Virtual Console in September, along with ultra editions of Sun and Moon and a deluxe version of Pokken Tournament for the Switch.

New details about the online service for Nintendo Switch have surfaced. The service will remain free until 2018. Future prices for the service have also been announced.

PvP and legendaries coming to Pokemon GO this summer

A feature that should have been part of Pokemon GO since launch is finally coming this summer. PvP, Legendary Pokemon and greater emphasis on teams are all confirmed features in near future updates.

Splatoon 2: three boxed versions

Spaltoon 2 will be available in three different boxed versions. A traditional boxed version that includes a game card, a digital card option, and the new solution which will be a physical box with a code inside. All versions will have the same price-tag.

Arms Global Testpunch

Nintendo held their Direct presentation for Arms, revealing three new characters, and detailing their post-launch updates plans. A "Global Testpunch" will take place later this month for the game launching on 16 June.

Another Pokemon game is making its way to the mobile devices of the world. Before the Pokemon game comes out, there will be a Legend of Zelda game available for smartphones.

Nintendo has announced their new handheld system: the 2DS XL. The system will borrow some features from the 3DS and add a couple of new ones. The release date is set for 28 July.

Nintendo's total numbers are in and whoa, people love The Legend of Zelda. The report details the number of software and hardware units sold during the course of the 2016/2017 fiscal year.

Update 1.1.1

Update 1.1.1 has been released for The Legend Of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Under "update details", Nintendo wrote simply: "Adjustments have been made to make for a more pleasant gaming experience.". Those adjustments turned out to be improvements in the frame rate department.
