Update 1.1.1 has been released for The Legend Of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Under "update details", Nintendo wrote simply: "Adjustments have been made to make for a more pleasant gaming experience.". Those adjustments turned out to be improvements in the frame rate department.

Today, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild received an update called 1.1.1. Nintendo is very thorough when it comes to detailing every single change the update will bring to the game. 

Not.

Under "Update Details" on their support page it simply says: "Adjustments have been made to make for a more pleasant gaming experience."

The rest of the text reads:

On March 31, 2017, a new software update for Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild became available for download. Please take a moment to download and install this update while your Nintendo Switch console is connected to the Internet.

Additional Information

  • This update must be applied in order to use the game’s Internet features.
  • Save data will still be available for use after downloading the update.
  • If the system is connected to the Internet, the update will download and install automatically.

 

Complete these steps:

1.Connect the Nintendo Switch console to the Internet.

2.Return to the HOME Menu and launch the game.

3.The update will be downloaded and installed automatically.

4.Once the update is installed, the newest version number will be displayed on the title screen.

Nevertheless, the update is live and we wanted to know how exactly Nintendo managed to achieve that "more pleasant gaming experience".

First off, the update weighs in at 167MB. Second, it seems like everyone noticed an increase in frame rate quality:
