Psychonauts 2's lead designer Seth Marinello recently took to Twitter to clue the players into some gameplay tips and tricks.
Seth Marinello, lead designer on Psychonauts 2 shared some useful tips for players who don't necessarily want to have Levitation equipped at all times. The mini-guide came in the form of a short video Marinello shared via his official Twitter account.
Marinello explains that there are two ways of going about this and you can find both if you pause your game, go to settings > controls and locate the following options.
Use Triple Jump To Glide
The first option that will let you do Levitation moves without the ability actually equipped is "Use Triple Jump To Glide". This will enable you to jump once to perform the movement as advertised, then do a double jump and jump once more after that to automatically start gliding.
Levitation Ball Pulldown From Glide
This feature is similar to what the players have come to know and love in the original Psychonauts. It enables you to pull down your Levitation Ball while gliding. This will see Raz transition from his Gliding animation into the Levitation Ball animation.
When enabled, the two options can work together: letting the player perform the triple jump and then link it up to pull down the Levitation Ball.
Psychonauts is now available for Xbox Series X and PC.
