Overwatch 2 is kicking off Season 18 with a full-on Wuyang-themed Twitch Drops campaign. You can snag some of the support hero’s cool cosmetics just by watching streams between September 16 and October 8.
Wuyang is making a big splash in Overwatch 2 as the first new support hero in two years. Season 18 has also introduced a number of major changes so far, like hero progression 2.0, a new skill rating system, and a reset of all players’ ranks. But this is a first look at Wuyang, so it’s only natural that Blizzard wants to reward you for checking out their Twitch Drops.
As with previous Twitch Drop events, you can snag a bunch of Wuyang-themed cosmetics over time by just keeping an eye on Overwatch 2 streams and having Drops enabled. It’s one of the easiest ways to get a whole lot of loot in the game.

Players must link their Battle.net and Twitch accounts to be eligible.
After linking accounts, viewers can watch any qualifying Overwatch 2 Twitch streamer from September 16 to October 8 to earn rewards.
Here’s the full breakdown of rewards and required watch times:

- 3 Hours: “Seeking Water’s Way” Name Card
- 5 Hours: “Panda Hugger” Name Card
- 8 Hours: “Happy Panda” Charm

- 13 Hours: Epic Loot Box
After claiming rewards through the Twitch Drops inventory, items will be delivered directly to player accounts via in-game mail.
Celebrating Wuyang’s Arrival
The cosmetics range from sprays to charms, drawing from different elements of Chinese culture, while fitting into Wuyang’s theme and identity. With all of these cosmetics, players can both show their support for the new hero while also customizing their profiles.
Associating these rewards with the launch of Season 18 should also help keep community engagement strong during what is one of the game’s most important updates to date.
Overwatch 2 players have no shortage of new things to jump into with the launch of new gameplay systems, new modes, and the much-anticipated arrival of a support hero, and the Twitch Drops can provide an even greater incentive to keep watching.
