With all the things announced for the next League of Legends patch, some big changes are going to be taking place in the jungle. That's why we've put together a list of the best junglers you should play after the new 10.8 update.
Riot Games' lead gameplay designer, Mark Yetter has revealed some information about the upcoming patch. There will be some significant changes and after mid , top and ADC we have now prepared a list of the best champions you play in the jungle position.
S tier:
- Karthus
The new experience changes will favour farming junglers - this is something that is going to hugely benefit the likes of Karthus. Considering that he was a top tier jungler in 10.7, these buffs will put him head and shoulders above everyone else.
A tier:
- Wukong
- Elise
- Zac
- Master Yi
- Warwick
- Lee Sin
- Trundle
- Olaf
- Rek'Sai
Much like Sett, Wukong has found his place in almost every other role besides support. His somewhat weak early jungle-clear and low gank potential before level six are compensated with his ability to almost single-handedly carry mid to late game team fights.
B tier:
- Ekko
- Nunu
- Graves
- Shaco
- Sett
- Jarvan IV
- Evelynn
- Kayn
- Rammus
- Rengar
- Kha'Zix
- Gragas
In the B tier, we have champions who can pop off but only if they gain an advantage early on. If they get shut down at the beginning, it's almost impossible to catch up with the opposing jungler, especially after the catch-up XP nerfs.
C tier:
- Kindred
- Fiddlesticks
- Nidalee
- Shyvana
- Hecarim
- Nocturne
- Vi
- Xin Zhao
- Amumu
- Sejuani
- Pantheon
Even though Riot did a very good job with the Fiddlesticks rework, we still think that his overall numbers and scaling should be buffed. A well-executed Crowstorm (R) can certainly win a team fight but apart from that single fact - he doesn't have much else to offer.
