Riot have launched the League of Legends summer event, better known as Soul Fighter, and with it given the community a well-deserved breath of fresh air with a new Arena mode, Battle pass and event shop along with a very colourful skinline.
Cosmetics enthusiasts have noticed the new locked banner in the "Customize Identity" tab and have been left without any indicators on how to unlock it.
The minigame called "Tournament of Souls" has probably flown under the radar for most players and has been discarded as just another menu animation. But those whose interest has been piqued have found it to be a game similar to old school Tekken.
How to obtain Soul Fighter Banner skin?
Samira fights the champions that have gotten the Soul Fighter skin and upon defeating them gets a reward in the form of icons or tokens. In order to fight these champions, the player has to acquire a set number of Reputation Points that can be obtained through completing missions and playing games.
In order for the player to obtain the Soul Fighter banner, they must complete the tournament of souls in both the story mode and the expert mode. The banner is a reward for beating the final boss, the God's Eye Viego.
So far there had been only one other banner skin aside from the usual ranked split banner and that is the Lunar Reveal 2023 banner which could be obtained by simply purchasing the Lunar Reveal battle pass and playing the game during the celebration of the Chinese New Year.
That banner is no longer up for purchase or unlock and will probably stay that way until next year's Lunar Reveal.
The upside of the Soul Fighter skin is that it is completely free and is available for everyone to obtain regardless of whether or not they have the battle pass purchased.
