Jagged Alliance 3 often sees players ending with excess money and with the addition of Bobby Ray's store, some of it can be put to good use, like not running out of bullets for your most used calibres.
However, there are a few kinks to work out for using the store that Haemimont did explain but it still may be a mystery if you didn't read all the news about the game.
In order to gain access to Bobby Ray's store, you will need to wait 24 in-game hours after first liberating the Ernie Village on the starter island. Meanwhile, saves that are further into the campaign than that, you simply have to wait 24 in-game hours.
If you attempt to enter the store before it gets activated, you will be met with a screen that tells you it is currently not active in Grand Chien.
When it gets activated, however, you will get a notification and a tab for Bobby Ray's will appear in your default browser, next to AIM Database, AIM Evaluation and IMP Web.
Initially, Bobby Ray's will offer just the basic weaponry, armour, ammo and miscellaneous items. It will "level up" up to three times during a campaign. First level is achieved with the activation of the store. The second level happens when you capture two mines and the third will become active after dealing with Biff Apscott.
You will know the store is at level three when it's not only Legion that attacks your zones.
After leveling up the store to the maximum, it can get literally any item during a refresh, meaning those elusive weapons like Desert Eagle, PSG-1, G36 and M82 can all appear in the inventory.
More importantly, each refresh will contain a large selection of ammo so you can go all out with various machineguns and other automatic weapons, as long as you have the money to pay for all the ammo.
