Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is the highly awaited 24th mainline title in the Call of Duty franchise, where fans only need a healthy dose of trying its new features ahead of its official release.
Probably one of the biggest updates to be expected is the brand-new Omni-movement system, which lets players do advanced moves like a sideways or even backward dive while still being able to aim.
Fortunately, Treyarch will include an open beta period for Black Ops 6 where players can actually see for themselves in-game through multiplayer and make a call on whether to buy the game. More importantly, during the beta period, there are some rewards that can be unlocked and will be transferred to the full game.
To take part in the Black Ops 6 open beta, it is downloadable on the following platforms: Steam, PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, or Battle.net. If your respective platform is Steam or Battle.net, ensure you have the Call of Duty HQ app installed.
The beta officially begins on September 6 at 10 am PDT / 1 pm EDT / 6 pm BST, although it will run through September 9 at those exact times. Of course, those who pre-ordered the game can jump in a bit early.
Those who preordered have a code they can use to get early access to the beta. Also, Game Pass subscribers with Core and Ultimate memberships will be treated to early access to the multiplayer beta.
This beta not only serves to give a look into the new gameplay mechanics but also acts as a demo to show you whether Black Ops 6 is up to par before it sees its full release.
