The most awaited multiplayer beta of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 by Activision is already at the doors of early access to start this week for those who preordered it or have a Game Pass subscription.
Preloading is now available, and through a recent blog post there has been unveiled what exactly one can expect to come with the beta content.
The beta kicks off with a Training Course designed to get players up to speed with the Omnimovement system. It even stars the iconic character Frank Woods.
Over the first weekend of early access, players can get to grips with four core maps - Derelict, Scud, Skyline, and Rewind, along with two Strike maps - Pit and Gala.
Players will have a variety of game modes to choose from, among them the all-time favorites - including Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Order, and the more intensive Face Off Team Death Match and Face Off Kill Confirmed.
Players can level up to 20 immediately, unlocking new weapons, Lethals, Field Upgrades, Perks, and much more as they move forward.
Next weekend, the beta is open to the public, and the level cap increases to 30 along with Hostile skill level adjustments in Core maps Babylon and Black Box, Strike map Stakeout and new modes Gunfight and Face Off Kill Order.
The early access beta runs from August 30 to September 4, followed by the open beta from September 6 to 9. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be officially released on October 25 for the Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC.
From maps, modes, to unlockable content, this beta promises a vast and varied look into what is to come in this most recent installment of the Black Ops series.
