In order to claim FNCS Drops, Fortnite players will need to watch the FNCS Invitational on November 12 and 13. Players can watch inside Fortnite itself at the Legends Landing island, or through Fortnite’s website, YouTube, or a Drop-enabled Twitch stream.
You’ll need to make sure you’re signed in to Epic Games when watching through the Fortnite website. You’ll have to link your accounts with YouTube or Twitch if watching there. This goes for both PC and Console players.
If you want to watch the FNCS Invitational inside Fortnite itself, you can head to the Legends Landing by inputting the island code: 3303-7480-5925.
Alongside earning Drops for watching FNCS, players can also “complete special Quests to earn in-game cosmetic rewards.” Epic Games haven’t revealed exactly what Fortnite players will be earning for watching November’s FNCS Invitational yet, but the “three new cosmetic Drops” will be revealed on their Twitter and Instagram pages.
The in-person FNCS Invitational arrives in November with a $1,000,000 prize pool but don’t worry if you can’t make it, as you can earn some free cosmetic rewards just for watching.
For previous events, Fortnite players could earn FNCS Backblings, Loading Screens, Sprays, and more. These rewards can only be claimed during the FNCS Invitational which wraps up on November 13, but “they may become available in the Fortnite Item Shop at a later date.”
Fortnite has an absolutely massive vault of cosmetics that players can equip, and more keeps coming. You don’t have to pay for it all though, as some can be earned through challenges, events, or by watching the Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS).
