ARC Raiders is a newly released extraction shooter from Embark Studios. The game is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.
As you progress through the levels in ARC Raiders, you slowly unlock features like the Trials, which are in-game point-based weekly challenges that are refreshed every week. By earning three stars and points in these challenges, you can climb through the ranks to earn exclusive rewards.
Each week Embark adds a new set of challenges for players to complete and climb up their leaderboards. The Season 1 Week 6 trials are live now, and here's a comprehensive guide on how to earn 3 stars in this week's trials.
What are Trials in ARC Raiders?
Trials is the unofficial rank system in ARC Raiders, which is unlocked at player level 15. Once unlocked, players have to earn points by completing challenges every week and climb up the leaderboards. By earning stars, players can earn exclusive rewards.
The challenges are usually divided into three stages, which are marked by stars. By earning points you can get stars, and each challenge has a limit of 3 stars. For each star, players get a reward, with a total of three rewards for completing a challenge.
By earning points you can earn a position in the leaderboard of 100 players in the same rank. Getting into the top 20 of the leaderboard will earn you a 2x promotion to the next ranks. With 1x promotion allocated for the next 30 positions. The bottom 20 players of the leaderboard are demoted to the previous rank.
How to Get 3 Stars in Season 1 Week 6 Trials in ARC Raiders
Like every week, this week's trials have five challenges players must complete to climb up the leaderboard. These challenges are quite easy, but you have to follow some simple strategies to effectively finish them without wasting your important resources. Here's an in-depth guide on how to get 3 stars in Season 1 Week 6 trials in ARC Raiders:
Damage Hornets
This challenge is quite straightforward; you just need to damage Hornets in any map of the game. To get 3 stars on this challenge, simply jump into a night raid, electromagnetic storm, or hidden bunker event and then hunt Hornets all around the map.
The fastest way to deal with hornets is by using seeker grenades and hullcracker if you have the resources or money. You can kill more than 10-15 hornets in a single run with these two things. Make sure to extract in time, or your progress will not count.
Deliver Carriables
This is arguably the most strenuous challenge of this week's trials. To complete this challenge and get 3 stars, you need to deliver around 6-8 crates to a field depot in any map. You can also complete this challenge by carrying batteries to locked doors and puzzles. Make sure to do this in modified map conditions like a night raid to get 2x points.
Damage Rocketeers, Leapers, or Bastions
This might be one of the easiest challenges of this week for most players. You can farm a lot of points by taking down leapers, rocketeers, and bastions in Night Raid. To get 3 stars in this challenge, you have to use Wolfpacks and the Hullcracker launcher. While damaging these ARCs will net you a lot of points, taking them out will give you the highest possible points for this particular challenge.
Destroy Pops
Jump into a night raid mode in any map to get three stars in this challenge. You can spot Pops easily from miles away in the dark thanks to their glowing blue light. Taking them out is fairly easy even with light ammo. To make this challenge easier, use an Anvil or Ferro, as heavy ammo will guarantee an instant kill on the pop from long-range distances. You'll find Pops in most medium- to high-value loot areas of all maps.
Open ARC Probes
ARC probes are usually rare to see in normal map conditions. To complete this challenge, wait for the Prospecting Probes map condition to go live and then jump in to complete the challenge. You'll need to open around 4 probes to complete this challenge easily. There is no advantage of doing this in a night raid or other map conditions, as the spawn of ARC Probes is very limited.
Getting 3 stars with decent points in trials will guarantee you a spot in the top 20 of the leaderboard. Remaining in the top 20 will also allow you to jump 2 ranks once the trials are refreshed for next week.
