Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's latest update has finally added Ambush limited time mode to Blackout, which officially marks the end of its two-week exclusivity to PlayStation 4, new Zombies gauntlet called Veni, Vidi, Zombie! and more.
As you're probably well aware by now, Ambush is Blackout's mode that limits your arsenal to snipers, melee and launchers, in a circle that never stops collapsing, which means even more hectic than Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's battle royale.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's Zombies have got a new gauntlet called Veni, Vidi, Zombie!, containing 30 rounds of challenges and a set of unique rules for each of the rounds.
"Players earn medals and tiered rewards for completing rounds 10, 20, and 30, as well as a cosmetic reward for completing round 30 without failing a round", Treyarch wrote. Failing, however, issues you a strike, three of which mean you're done here. All matches are timed, by the way.
As for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 changes that affect all the platforms, we're looking at Mercenary Nuketown as featured playlists with Hardcore Nuketown, Mercenary Capture Moshpit, Endurance Chaos Moshpit and Pro Series Moshpit being added to the featured category rotation in multiplayer.
Apparently, some Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 players found an exploit in Heist, which allowed them to use 9-bangs more than once per round, but Treyarch claim it has since been fixed.
The remaining changes are mostly reserved for minor bug fixes and tweaks, such as the one that has choppers properly malfunctioning when outside of Ambush's relentless circle, fixing some cosmetics mismatches and patching up a handful of Zombies exploits.
Treyarch also mentioned that their "next big operation and 1.13 game update" are coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 next week, when they'll post a detailed breakdown of the exact changes. Until then, you might as well get to Ambushin', no?
