Nintendo Switch indie rush strikes again, hitting jackpot along the way. Wasteland 2: Director's Cut port for Switch is in the works, as teased by the man himself - Brian Fargo.
CRPG enthusiasts rejoice, for Wasteland 2: Director's Cut is spreading to yet another platform, Nintendo Switch, and therefore becoming available on a compact device.
Brian Fargo, producer and co-designer of Wasteland 2 has teased an image showing the game on Nintendo Switch on his Twitter.
The post instigated a frenzy of enthusiastic fans of both the game and Switch itself, which took even Fargo by surprise, prompting another tweet in a rather quick succession saying, ''I have to give props to Nintendo owners for your love of the machine. My Wasteland Switch screen shot had the quickest traction of most anything I’ve ever tweeted''.
In a follow-up tweet he also revealed the game is being ported by the same team behind Bard's Tale versions for Android and iOS.
Excitement kept growing with Fargo's followers and eventually Ivan Moreno, caught an amusing little detail in bottom right of the picture poking fun at DLC, reading ''Red Boots DLC Only 49,95$!''.
As of right now, there is no confirmation regarding the ETA of the port, but we will keep our eyes peeled for any news regarding Wasteland 2 for Switch as well as development of Wasteland 3, that is to be released some time in 2019.
