Teamfight Tactics added as permanent LoL mode

Riot Games have confirmed that Teamfight Tactics, their League of Legends auto battler, is now a permanent addition to the game, which means the dev team will be updating it with patches, champions, champion sets and ranked seasons.

Valve rush to fix Underlords' Arc Warden

As with most early beta releases, Dota Underlords is proving to be a bit of a balancing challenge for Valve. The latest exploit discovered by players relates to Arc Warden's cloning ability, provided the clones can be fed with mana.

Players prefer TFT ranked system over LoL's

League of Legends ranked system consists of many hoops when trying to advance between divisions and even tiers in said divisions. Teamfight Tactics doesn't have any of that, which prompted players to voice their wish to boot the promos.

Valve are still looking to stick to their promised weekly update schedule for Dota Underlords, which is great for players and a proverbial gold vein for data miners. Assets for sixteen new heroes have been spotted in the game's files.

Tencent introduced the first-ever iteration of League of Legends on mobile devices through their streaming platform, WeGame. Unfortunately, it isn't all it's cracked up to be since you will still need to actually run the game from a PC.

Riot Games recently started teasing more Project skins for League of Legends, eventually resulting in a trailer that showed abilities, animations and other effects for the five champions that will get them. Pyke will get a legendary skin.

The International 2019 full team list

The International 2019 participating team roster is now fully known, unlike the final prize pool size since it's nearing $30 million and has about one month to go, until 15 August 2019. Fortnite World Cup prize pool will be dethroned.

League of Legends is less than pleasant place most of the time for players who are not used to online toxicity and Riot Games are giving them more options to deal with it in patch 9.14 along with the overhauled Death Recap feature.

Dota 2's International is reaffirmed in 2019 as the Heavy-Hiter among esports in time for August finals, at least in terms of prize pools. Well over $25.000.000 await as 2018's record total is again left in the dust of esports history.

League of Legends players have been patiently waiting for the return of Clash and it seems the time will come soon. Public Beta Environment (PBE) will be updated on 2 July 2019 for another round of Clash testing with a new format.

Account boosting is an issue in just about any competitive video game and South Korea is the first country to start regulating it. Account boosters can now face up to two years in prison as well as fines depending on the crime severity.

Riot Games usually stick to a two-week patch cycle but three-week cycles happen now and then. League of Legends patch 9.14 will be caught by one of those cycles but it is not really weird to see since it will bring major content updates.

League of Legends players from Iran and Syria can't access the game anymore. This is apparently not Riot Games' decision, but rather a result of the US government's sanctions against the latter two governments due to increased tension.

Riot Games walked into a PR problem after they banned one streamer following a report from a bigger streamer. League of Legends community split in support for each side but the controversy brought Riot's preferential treatment to light.

Riot Games have recently banned Nubrac, a League of Legends streamer not many people liked after another streamer, Nightblue3, reported him. The latter was now banned as well for the displayed toxicity during the controversial ranked match.

Riot Games have released another Riot Pls video which usually brings good news along. This was the case with the latest episode as well since New001 announced that death recap will finally be fixed. Oh and the client is getting an update.

League of Legends World Championship date and venues revealed

Riot Games have announced League of Legends World Championship dates and venues. The main event of Season 9 will commence on 2 October 2019 and will be held in three major European cities across three countries - Berlin, Madrid and Paris.

League of Legends developer Riot Games found themselves in a pickle when gender-based controversy sparked the emotions. It led to a series of events that culminated in DFEH investigation that Riot are apparently not co-operating with.
