Ghost of Tsushima preloading is now live on PlayStation 4.You can start downloading the game to have everything up and running before Sony's exclusive unlocks tomorrow - July 17, 2020.
Ghost of Tsushima, one of the biggest releases on PlayStation 4 this year is now available for preload. Those with a slow internet connection will certainly appreciate the option to download the game earlier so they can start it straight away once it unlocks on the PS Store.
And while preloading is certainly a welcomed sight for many, the file size of Ghost of Tsushima is not that bad at all. Even if you have slow internet, 34 GB probably is not too scary. It is also interesting to see such a small file size for a game with a vast open-world, stunning graphics and gameplay mechanics.
For example, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's file size is still rising with each update and on PC, the game recently reached around 200 GB in size, which sounds absolutely ludicrous when compared to another AAA game of a similar size.
File sizes of other open-world games like Red Dead Redemption 2 or Assassin's Creed Odyssey are also huge so it seems Sucker Punch did a really good job regarding the compression of the game files. Hats off for that.
Ghost of Tsushima is exclusive to PlayStation 4 and it is finally releasing on Friday, July 17, 2020. You can check out our review roundup for more info about the game.
