Xbox today unveiled a new Partner Preview showcase, set for November 20. This event is designed to give players another glimpse of new games in development at studios that are not part of Microsoft’s internal Xbox team.
Xbox Partner Preview has a variety of strong games, including brand new footage on IO Interactive’s 007 First Light, the first extended gameplay trailer on the dark fantasy adventure Tides of Annihilation, and a debut look at Reanimal, the new horror experience from the creator of Little Nightmares.
There are also additional new reveals from publishers including Tencent and THQ Nordic. This promises to be another content heavy event for Xbox to close out the year.
All featured games on this preview will also support Xbox Play Anywhere. This means players can purchase the title once, and then have access to it on console, PC, and compatible handheld devices.
What To Expect From the November Xbox Partner Preview
IO Interactive will be showing new gameplay from 007 First Light, providing more information on how the developer plans to continue its reimagining of the storied James Bond series.
Tides of Annihilation will also get an expanded gameplay preview, allowing the publisher to better demonstrate combat, level design, and overall tone. Reanimal will be in attendance as well, and is expected to share some more details on the creative direction of its next horror game, which is in development by the team behind Little Nightmares.
In addition to new gameplay, a number of surprise announcements, release date reveals, and Game Pass additions will also be included in the show. As has been the case with previous Partner Previews, the event will feature only third-party studios, meaning the focus will remain on international games.
The showcase will be narrated by Jennifer English, the voice of the lead character from Tides of Annihilation.
How To Watch the Xbox Partner Preview
The showcase will be streamed live on Thursday, November 20, at 10am Pacific, 1pm Eastern and 6pm UK time. The event will be available on the official Xbox channels on YouTube, Twitch and TikTok, as well as Xbox regional pages globally.
The YouTube broadcast will be in 4K at 60fps, with the other platforms at 1080p and 60fps. The event will include live subtitles in several languages, with post-show audio description and sign language versions being released through the official channels.
