Xbox have already invited players to tune in to The Game Awards show on December 8, 2023, for important announcements and other Xbox-related news, which suggests that the publisher will have some major reveals at Keighley's show.
One potential announcement could be related to backwards compatibility for Xbox 360 titles. Xbox president Sarah Bond has recently tweeted a logo of Xbox from the 360 era without any context, which Xbox fans took as a tease for a reveal that could be scheduled for The Game Awards.
If you've been on Twitter/X and other social media platforms long enough, you probably know that these posts are never random, and most of the time serve as teasers for exciting news.
Some Xbox fans also speculate that the Xbox 360 era logo could mean something different, like the official announcement of The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remaster, which leaked in Microsoft vs FTC court documents.
Oblivion was one of the most iconic Xbox 360 exclusives so Bond could be using the logo of the console as a hint for the remaster announcement, which would be one of the biggest surprises at the show.
Whatever Xbox have in store for The Game Awards, it looks like the announcement will be pretty big so definitely tune in to watch the show, if you're a fan of Xbox.
We're personally hoping that Xbox show us more of their announced titles like Perfect Dark, Everwild and State of Decay 3.
