The next Xbox event, which was reportedly scheduled for later this month, has been pushed to September 2020, according to a reliable industry insider Shinobi602.

Yesterday, Microsoft officially announced that the highly-anticipated Halo Infinite will not release this November. Instead, the game is now coming sometime in 2021, which is certainly disappointing news to many fans. And it looks like this is not the last bit of bad news coming from Xbox this week.

According to a reliable industry insider Shinobi602, news about other Xbox reveals which have been mentioned lately will come a bit later too. The insider did not specifically say which news is delayed but we assume Xbox pricing and a potential Xbox Lockhart reveal won't be coming this month.

"At the same time, expect news about other Xbox stuff that's been going around recently to come a bit later too," Shinobi602 wrote. "Stuff that was planned for this month pushed to next month."

At the moment, we do not know the reason for this delay but it is possible that Xbox want to reveal their cards after Sony, who are also planning to talk more about PlayStation 5 later this month, according to rumours.

How exactly will this delay affect Xbox, especially after the Halo Infinite delay it remains to be seen, but it is safe to say that the Green Team need some big positive news as soon as possible.
