Winter holidays are coming to World of Warships: Legends too and the game is getting an update to celebrate, debuting the HMS Minotaur while offering more options for other ships.
HMS Minotaur is arriving to World of Warships: Legends with melodies much different than Christmas carols. We are, of course, talking about the massive firepower of this monstrosity that is firing shells off like there is no tomorrow. Should one find themselves in its crosshairs, no tomorrow is probably going to come to true.
This new ship will be earnable through playing Theseus' Bane campaign which will be around for six weeks. After that, the Minotaur will be available through the Bureau when the next update kicks in.
Besides the Minotaur, players will be able to grab HMS Lion with the Winter Coins that are earned by completing missions and tasks that are associated with the Arena seasons. Alternatively, there is always the option to bust out the wallet.
While update 3.10 is in effect, players will be able to rent Legendary Tier warships by using their credits. There is a total of 12 ships that will be available for renting, including the newly-released Montana and the French cruiser Colbert. After renting a ship, it will be available in all game modes for a limited time.
There is also a pile of new cosmetics so you can dress up properly for the celebrations, including the new Commander Guises. These cosmetics apply special effects to your ship, such as brighter shell traces, fireworks and more.
