Tarkov Arena presents its own distinct progression system, seamlessly transferrable to Escape from Tarkov, allowing players to channel their hard-earned rubles and items back into the original game.

The Escape from Tarkov developers, Battlestate Games, and their PR team have taken to Gamescom to announce a bunch of new things coming to Escape from Tarkov.

While players kill cams and a new anti-cheat system do sound very exciting and intriguing, the announcement that took the spot for most intriguing is BSG's new standalone game, Tarkov Arena.

Tarkov Arena will feature a lot of elements from Escape from Tarkov and many players have wondered why the game is not a feature of Escape from Tarkov.

At a hefty price tag of roughly $35, Tarkov Arena will target the "W key players" as the developers have said and what this means is that Arena will be a very fast-paced game mode that will put the players into combat almost instantly after joining a lobby.

Arena will have its own progression that can be transferred to the original Escape from Tarkov so all of the rubles and items that have been earned in Arena can be spent or used in Escape from Tarkov. Additionally, the base game PMC level can also be levelled through the game.

Arena will feature rebuilt maps that have been adjusted to the play style that is intended in the arena, fast-paced and instant.

Currently the only complaint the community has is that even the players who have shown remarkable skill in the new game have not been rewarded as much xp as the community thinks they should but BSG might be working on a tweak for that since the game is set to release in beta and they are looking for all of the feedback they can get.
