Riot took to the official social media of Valorant to share a brand new piece of Valorant's story with the community.
In a short that had been posted to Youtube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, the viewers can see Deadlock making her way to Cypher's van where he seems to have a set up monitoring multiple cameras all over the area.
Deadlock warns Cypher to stop monitoring her and hands him a USB which seems to be containing either information or software that allows him to access cameras in an unknown area.
Both Deadlock and Cypher are intrigued by her find and agree that Brimstone needs to know about their find immediately.
Not much else is known about the contents of the USB or the location that Cypher and Deadlock were monitoring but many players and observers have jumped to the conclusion that the area on the cameras is the newest addition to the map roster of Valorant.
The last map that had been added is Lotus back in January of 2023 and the game had needed a new environment for the players to show their skills off.
While Team Death Match had been added in the meantime with its own map, most players have still opted for normal Death Matches, Swiftplays and Quick Matches for warmups or casual plays.
One aspect of that is the fact that maps that are no longer in competitive and unrated rotation are there and players who feel nostalgic and wish to play something different can do so there.
