Another game bites the dust as preservation is getting dumpstered by the modern-day industry.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf is a turn-based game that won some fans over with its gameplay and artistic qualities but also alienated them with monetisation.

In other words, HeroCraft's title was never a huge hit but it did develop a cult following, meaning there would always be people interested in playing it.

The thing with the modern-day gaming industry is that it doesn't matter if people like a game - if its time comes, it becomes pretty much unreachable through legal means.

The same will happen with Space Wolf on October 11, 2023, when the game will cease to be available for purchase. The reason is that the license for it is expiring so the devs won't be able to sell it legally anymore.

In order to grab a few bucks more before bowing out, Space Wolf will be on deep sales across all featured platforms until then, with a few exceptions.

Sale eligibility is as follows:

  • On PlayStation Store Asia: 85%, from September 27 to October 11
  • On Nintendo eShop US: 88%, from September 29 to October 11
  • On Nintendo eShop EU: 90%, from October 8 to October 11
  • On Xbox: 90%, from October 3 to October 9
  • On Steam for Deluxe Edition Bundle: 90%, from September 27 to October 5
  • On Steam for Main Game and the Saga of the Great Awakening DLC: 90% from October 5 to October 11
  • On Steam for all other DLCs: 90% from October 8 to October 11

Most of these editions are under $10 if you are still looking to try them out before the delisting.
