As a part of the latest Velvet Shell DLC, two G.E.O. Operators will be joining team Rainbow. One of them is Ryad Ramírez Al-Hassar a.k.a Jackal. The tactically trained Operator's main weapons will be the C7E and PDW9 rifles, and the secondary set will feature the ITA 12S and USP 40.
Rainbow 6 scriptwriter Farah Brixi explained that they wanted to depict how Spain's special operations commanders assign each officer with a role reflecting their personal tactics and assets. “We created Jackal with that in mind, so that he would fully embody a specific playstyle. When you pick Jackal you are sending a clear message to the opposing team: now they’ve got a target on their back.”
