Rainbow Six Siege's latest DLC pack will be available on 29 August for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. More details will be revealed on 25 August during the Rainbow Six Siege Pro League Finals.
Ubisoft let us know that the map for Rainbow Six Siege's latest DLC pack, Operation Blood Orchid, will be available on 29 August for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
However, the map is not the only content we'll be getting at the end of the month. Three new Operators will also join the fray. Two Operators hail from Hong Kong and one is from Poland. The map and the new Operators will be accompanied by a series of customisation items as well.
As always, Season Pass holders will be getting the three Operators a bit earlier - on 29 August, and everyone else will get to try them on 05 September. More info on the Operators and Blood Orchid update will be divulged during a livestrem in honour of the Pro League finals at Gamescom on 26 August at 5.15pm BST over on .
As for the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Pro League Finals, here are some details to get you ready for the livestream. On 25 and 26 August the eight best teams from Europe, North America and Latin America will compete for the Year 2 Season 2 Pro League Champion title in the ESL Arena at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany. The prize pool adds up to a cool £182.566.
The remaining teams are:
- Penta Sports
The current holder of the Pro League title managed to break the curse of year one and re-qualify for the Finals. Fabian, Pengu, KS, Goga and Joonas will come to Gamescom to defend their title. They will represent Europe as seed #2 and will face Excellence Gaming in the first match.
- Ence esports
A Rainbow Six LAN Finals would not be complete without Willkey and its members who represent Finland & Europe. With Kantoraketti, Pannari and Shatte on their side, Willkey and Bounssi secured their LAN spot and took seed #1 in Europe and will face Elevate in their first match.
The French squad won the second season of Pro League back in year one and will try to repeat the success story in this year two. Joghurtzz, Renshiro and Falko already have one Pro League championship to their name but with Liven & siTiZze, Millenium will have to face Team Fontt, the strong LATAM team of the moment, in their first match to get a chance to move forward in the bracket.
- eXcellence Gaming:
GurmyWormy and his teammates fell short in Season One, one step away from the playoff. However, in Season two, they managed to pull it off in an amazing way. With only one map dropped during the entire season, GurmyWormy, Mahman, Geo, Bryan, & FoxA won their ticket to Gamescom and will represent North America as the first seed.
- Vertical Gaming
They are not new to the LAN scene as all their players already faced Europe & Latin America both in Year One, Six Invitational and Year Two. KingGeorge, Avian, Slashug, Yung and Ecl9pse will have to rebuild the pride of North America by taking over BRK esports in the quarterfinals.
Elevate was the top team in the world back in 2017 when they were playing on Xbox. After their transition on PC they showed that they still belong in the top.
SkyS, LaxinG, Shuttle, England and Chapstick will fly to Germany as the 3rd seed of NA and try to break ENCE in the first round.
- BRK e-Sports
Zigueira and Nesk will have to get all the support from their mates; and with Yuuk, Julio and oNe try to take Vertical Gaming to move forward in the Pro League Finals and may be get a rematch against PENTA Sports.
- Team Fontt
The former Dexterity Team failed to qualify to the LAN Finals in Season One but Gohan, Cameraman, Astro, Muringa & Mav showed that this was a onetime mistake. Not even one map dropped during the full season and Team Fontt will be on stage, defending the Brazilian colours against Millenium.
