Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong's latest reveal for the third and final playable character was a video showcasing the allure and the powers of a beautiful creature of the night.
Nacon and Big Bad Wolf Studio had the pleasure of introducing us to the third and final playable character in Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong. The players got to appreciate the latest addition to the roster via a brand new trailer.
Meet Emem
Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong's previously announced heroes: Galeb and Leysha are relinquishing their spotlight in favour of the third playable character: Emem. She may look like a young woman with magnetic charm, but she's actually an irresistible 100-year-old vampire. This former jazz diva joined the Toreador clan after Hilda, the love of her life, turned her into the immortal creature we see today.
The trailer video plays with fans' expectations and flips the script on its head at the last second, revealing that things are not always what they seem, even in the world of the undead. Emem transforms from the hunted into the hunter with a flip of the switch, while also revealing her powers, stemming from the Disciplines of Celerity and Presence.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong is a narrative RPG born from the 5th edition of Vampire: The Masquerade. This time around, the players will take control of three vampires belonging to different clans of the Camarilla, the secret society to which most vampires belong. The thread that holds the story together will weave through all three characters' tales and show the players that there are two sides to every coin.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong will be available on PC (via the Epic Games Store) and consoles in February 2022.
