The upcoming Team Deathmatch (TDM) mode in Valorant introduces several unique features that set it apart from the regular Deathmatch mode. Riot Games has provided details on these key features. Similar to traditional Team Deathmatch, players will be divided into two teams, with the objective being the first team to reach 100 kills, earning up to 1000 XP.
A notable aspect of TDM is the quick respawn time of 1.5 seconds for each player. To add uniqueness to the game mode, Riot Games has implemented four different stages, with changes to weapon loadouts in each stage. As promised, Valorant's TDM mode will be ability-based, and to fulfill this promise, Riot Games has introduced Weapon Spawners, Orbs, Recovery Orbs, Ultimates Orbs, and other elements.
These features allow players to utilize various abilities and gain different powers throughout the TDM match. However, there will be cooldowns on abilities to prevent the lobby from descending into complete chaos.

- Recovery Orbs provide health and shield restoration over time.
- Ultimate Orbs charge up a percentage of the Ultimate ability.
- Abilities recharge over time once depleted, with varying recharge times.
