Valorant's long-awaited ranked mode is finally debuting after the initial release was postponed due to bugs. Release times will be different for various regions.
Riot Games originally planned to release ranked mode in Valorant alongside patch 1.02 but several game-breaking bugs forced the devs to postpone the sweatfest. When your mind is 110 per cent focused on winning the game, the last thing you want is an agent spawning in the opposing team's camp.
Anyway, the things seem to be fixed now as Riot announced the release date and times of ranked, although it's going to be a staggered launch for some regions.
Korea, Oceania and Asia Pacific should already have the mode available by the time this article gets published. North America, Brazil and Latin America will get ranked one hour later, at 2:00 PM PT.
Europe, Russia, Turkey and CIS regions will be the last ones to get ranked as it will start six hours after North America. In other words, players from these regions will not be able to play ranked until 5:00 AM CEST on June 25, 2020.
In case you are among the last regions to receive ranked, you might want to check out the details on how ranked will work if you missed Riot's previous announcement.
Furthermore, keep in mind that Viper will be much stronger after the changes she received in patch 1.02. Her Toxic Screen will be able to reach areas previously unavailable to it.
Meanwhile, standing in Snake Bite (the green puddle) will cause you to take double damage. Therefore, be wary of it overall but especially in pistol rounds since a single headshot from Classic will drop you. Even a single body shot from Sheriff will be enough to send you to greener pastures.
