HD Reworked Project from modder Halk Hogan HL over at Nexus Mods is probably one of the best, if not the best game texture mods you'll ever see. The mod replaces almost every single texture in the original game with high-quality content without changing the look of the game drastically, which is one of the main problems with most of the texture mods.
HD Reworked Project is even endorsed by The Witcher 3 developers CD Projekt Red and has received several updates since its initial release. The latest version, 11.0, finally introduces crispy clear textures to Toussaint, the gorgeous-looking region from The Witcher 3's last DLC Blood and Wine.
As you can see in the comparison above and on the official mod page, Toussaint's buildings, rocks, terrain, bridges and much more have received a total makeover, similar to how the mod reworked most of the textures in other regions such us Skellige and Velen.
The modder did not offer a detailed description of everything that has been reworked but he claims that HD Reworked Project 11.0 brings "much more content" and a "new level of quality" to existing textures.
You can download the mod here, the installation is a piece of cake but if you need any help, you can check out the step by step installation guide on the same page. Before you download the mod, keep in mind that you'll need a graphics card with at least 4 GB of VRAM.
The performance drop is almost unnoticeable (0-5 FPS) on older cards while on GTX 970/AMD R9 290X and higher there should be no fps drop, the modder claims.
