Ubisoft will make the next Assassin's Creed game even bigger than Assassin's Creed Valhalla, which is the biggest game in the popular action adventure franchise.
Assassin's Creed Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla have many things in common but the most obvious feature that makes these games similar is the huge open world, which sprawls across several regions.
The latest game in the franchise, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, is the biggest ever in terms of map size, story length and side activities even though hardcore Assassin's Creed fans have been longing for smaller titles similar to Assassin's Creed II or Unity.
If you are one of those fans, we have bad news, it looks like Ubisoft don't have any plans to scale down Assassin's Creed games, quite the contrary, the next game will be the biggest ever, according to reliable industry insider and Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier.
Schreier said that the next game will be very, very big, even bigger than the gargantuan Assassin's Creed Valhalla so it's safe to say we're getting another massive open-world, long story and a ton of side activities to keep us busy all the time.
Other than that, Schreier did not say much about this game but interestingly, he confirmed some earlier rumours regarding the Ubisoft Sofia game, which was supposed to be a smaller game, focused on the story of Richard the Lionheart.
Apparently, the project has been morphed into a third DLC for Assassin's Creed Valhalla. You can read more about that here.
