Nexon’s upcoming action RPG, The First Berserker: Khazan is emerging as an intense game that operates at high speed. IGN Fan Fest showcased the newest trailer which provides viewers with an in-depth view of combat mechanics such as boss battles and weapon abilities as well as the introduction of a new Awakening transformation.
The game features a powerful aquatic boss who battles Khazan with a deadly parasol that delivers quick strikes as well as impalement attacks. The trailer demonstrates seamless weapon transitions which enable players to modify their combat approach in real-time.
The Awakening form stands out as the most thrilling reveal since Khazan merges with Blade Phantom armor to unleash powerful new abilities. The game’s combat system becomes even more complex with the introduction of this transformation.
New boss battles and weapon techniques
The trailer demonstrates multiple weapon-specific abilities to highlight various playstyles for players. With their spears players deliver quick spinning attacks while Greatsword users unleash a strong rising slash before delivering a downward stab.
The weapon-swapping system enables players to adapt to different encounters through smooth transitions between weapons.
The Awakening form stands out as a major revelation because it provides Khazan with a powerful charged slash that draws energy from the Blade Phantom. The transformation acts as a high-risk, high-reward mechanic but Neople hasn't shown its complete capabilities yet.
Release date and Early Access details
The First Berserker: Khazan becomes available for Xbox Series X/S and PS5 consoles and PC platforms on March 27 while Deluxe Edition owners will receive early access starting March 24.
This RPG represents one of 2025’s potential top action titles through its visceral combat alongside diverse weapons and complex mechanics.
